The Shadow Fell for Me

Knock, knock.

"Is that you?"

My friend tends to pay a visit only during the night hours, while everyone else is deeply asleep. And on each next day, I would find a candy from him on my pillow.

'Why doesn’t he ever show himself to me?'

But as my curiosity turns into disappointment, I have decided to implement my idea of pretending to be in trouble in order to meet him.

But the person I meet...

"A shadow?"

As if it wasn't surprising enough to learn that my old friend is actually a shadow, suddenly Duke Verlite, the most handsome person in the entire realm, comes looking for me.

"What! You are the one who stole my shadow!"
