The Ruler Of Darkness

Born under the fate of the Star of a Thousand Deaths—destined to bring a storm of blood wherever he goes—he refused to draw his sword, choosing instead to spare the mortal world from calamity. He knew everything that was to come, yet turned his eyes away from it all. But the price of his indifference was catastrophic. His clan was annihilated. His family was slaughtered. Only at the very edge of death did he finally understand: heaven does not punish the wicked, cause and effect are nothing but illusion, and judgment is merely a hope invented by the weak to comfort themselves. The moment he realized this truth, a forbidden scripture appeared before his eyes—a heaven‑defying text woven from the resentment of man, sky, and earth: the Jeam Jincheon Scripture*. "If heaven will not pass judgment, then I will become the judge myself!" Swallowing the darkness whole, he returns as a being of shadow, reborn to punish every sin this rotten world has committed. Now, he will bring down the sword of retribution upon a world too corrupt to save itself.
