Red String Quests

The Red String Quest: Where Fate and Reality Collide

Lee Yeon, a practical law student, never expected his life to take such a strange turn. When he runs into Kihoon, his senior ( Sunbae ) and a former middle school crush, what starts as a casual trip quickly becomes anything but ordinary. Together, they’re thrown into the whimsical and slightly absurd “Red String of Fate Quest.”

Round 1: 5 Pecks on the Cheeks!
The first challenge is as awkward as it sounds. Yeon, ever the skeptic, can’t help but roll his eyes. “Is this for real?” he mutters, but Kihoon’s teasing smile tells him there’s no backing out now. Skepticism vs. Destiny
Yeon has always believed love is about choice, not some mystical force. The idea of being “destined” for someone feels like a fairy tale—one he’s not interested in. But as the quest unfolds, he finds himself oddly drawn to the folklore surrounding the Red String of Fate. A Relationship in Flux
With each challenge, the dynamic between Yeon and Kihoon shifts. Kihoon, once an untouchable senior, starts to feel more like an equal—and maybe something more. Yeon, on the other hand, begins to question whether fate might have a hand in their growing connection. The Battle of Logic and Magic
Yeon’s logical mind struggles to make sense of the quest’s whimsical nature. Is this all just a series of coincidences, or is there something deeper at play? As the challenges grow more personal, Yeon finds himself torn between his skepticism and the undeniable pull of the moment. Will Yeon’s belief in choice triumph, or will the Red String of Fate prove stronger than he ever imagined?
