Briefing: The Anchor of The Soul

Time flows, moments turning into eternity, only to fragment back into fleeting instants.

One fateful meeting intertwines the lives of a man who has long lost meaning in an endless existence and a woman who finds purpose in her limited time.

Jung Woo-jin moves through life untouched by time itself—no wrinkles, no signs of age, only an ethereal beauty framed by sorrowful violet eyes. For years, he has remained hidden, embracing a quiet, dignified solitude. But his monotonous days take an unexpected turn when a woman with an unforgettable heartbeat keeps stepping into his world.

"Because it was our first kiss… I was just talking to myself. Can we pretend you didn’t hear that?"

Kang Eun-seong, the nation’s most captivating news anchor, is a relentless journalist who once reported from the front lines before rising to deliver the evening news. She is rational, passionate, and driven—until an enigmatic man disrupts her ordered world.

"And if I do pretend, what will Kang Eun-seong do for me?"

The words roll from his lips like a whispered promise, his breath lingering between them.

"Then tell me, Jung Woo-jin… what is it you want from me?" "I’ll forget what I heard. In return, Kang Eun-seong will protect me."

His gaze, dark and unfathomable, hides wounds she cannot yet understand. But as he retreats, something about his loneliness makes her restless, as if time itself is slipping through her fingers.
