Bitten by the Dog I Abandoned

Evelyn Winter is from a powerful family and cruelly rejects Gillas Black, her loyal dog companion. She asks, “You said you loved me?” Evelyn responds coldly, “Love? Do you even understand what that means? You’re clueless and foolish.”

Gillas warns, “You’ll regret this,” before leaving. Unaffected, Evelyn continues her life, marrying Rowen, who will inherit Delilah’s legacy. They have a daughter named Sherry. Evelyn’s happiness ends quickly as Rowen dies tragically in a train accident, leaving her to grieve as a widow. Her troubles multiply as the family’s finances decline, and the once-spoiled son is reported missing.

In a surprising turn of events, the dog she previously abandoned reappears as a war hero, changing the course of events.
